Polytrauma by definition represents a complex clinical scenario characterized an evolving pattern of life-threatening injuries. In the last decades, different systems were created to classify polytrauma patients and evaluate probability survival, act as guide decision-making process in management individual patient. The overall patient must take many factors into account that influence timing surgical procedures. seriously injured with fractures has changed recent decades. Any worsening patient’s condition or physiological parameters requires rapid re-evaluation change therapeutic strategy. analysis obtained resuscitation stage is essential stratify appropriate category. evaluation treatment patient, together resuscitative endpoints, allows customization strategy for each case.
